Entrepreneurship zone at QITCOM 2019 provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and professionals to achieve their ambitions, learn from the best about digital entrepreneurship, network, gain inspiration to grow their business and lead the change. The zone consists of 5 main platforms
Idea Camp
Idea Camp is a six-week program from Digital Incubation Center that targets talented entrepreneurs, developers and designers capable of utilizing emerging technologies to create efficient and effective solutions, products and services. The event offers a series of workshops, training and mentorships directed at incubating the best pitches that will be judged by a panel of experts and audience members. At the end of the program, the most innovative business models, software solutions or prototypes will be selected to take part in enhancing Qatar’s digital vision.
Innovation Theatre
Unified platform where qualified entrepreneurs will get a chance to exchange knowledge with reputable investors, innovators, decision makers and experts to further support the development of their business. • Participants at this stage will take part in discussions, workshops and investment rounds while being introduced to multiple renowned speakers from the innovation ecosystem. • Rare opportunity for entrepreneurs to execute their startup ideas into practical proposals for expert panellists and audience members. • The most voted innovative and digitally advanced pitch will receive an exclusive award along with a promising business opportunity.
CodeCamp
Great Opportunity for distinguished enterprises to partner with competent and emerging startups in a global Hackathon competition. • Teams of computer programmers, software developers, business analysts and graphic designers will collaborate to solve case-based challenges and to develop smart solutions to real life challenges in Qatar, within 48 hours prior to QITCOM 2019 • Participants will be trained by reputable experts who will assist startups in developing suitable solutions and implement diagnostic skills through role-playing and discussions as they approach Hackathon.
